Basic golf etiquette
October 16 , 2021
1. Players can only walk gently on the green. Avoid running. At the same time, they need to raise their feet when walking to avoid scratches on the flat surface of the green due to dragging. Never drive a golf cart or trolley on the green, as this will cause irreparable damage to the green.
2. Every player is obliged to repair the ball marks caused by his own ball. When players see other unrepaired ball marks on the green, they should also be repaired if time permits.
3. Once the ball stops on the green, there is an imaginary line from the ball to the hole. Players should avoid stepping on the putt line of other players in the same group, otherwise it may affect the effect of the player's putt, which is extremely impolite and offensive to other players.
4. When players in the same group are pushing or preparing to push the ball, in addition to being unable to move and making noises, they should also pay attention to their standing position. They should stand out of the line of sight of the putter. At the same time, according to the rules, they should not stand in the push. The ball player puts the line to the extension line on both sides.
